This is a picture book formed from a passion and love for Orchids, the largest family of plants all over the world.
The beauty and variety of the genus Bulbophyllum sparked in us, Ludek Pejzl and Roland Amsler, a real addiction to collecting, leading to one of the biggest collections of Bulbophyllum.
Because the names of this genus are anything but clear, we've chosen the "Chaos-Principle". This means that the index of the name of the plants, on our homepage, will be updated continuously. We haven't defined any names because we are constantly getting new information.
This means we could start printing the books without the problem that the text is already out of date at the start.
